If Congress were a high school, this funny banner would be right at home.

Of course, you'd have to update the year to 2010, but that seems like a lot of work. Maybe we should just re-use this one. It doesn't smell like Republicans too much - no more than the Democrats do anymore; it can be hard to tell the difference sometimes.

I wonder what measure they use to gauge their claim of progress by? Somehow I suspect it is not the same one most people in the country use. One need only try to watch an hour or two of CSPAN to see just how little worthwhile work is done by these jokers. Of course with Republicans back in the front seat a lack of progress might not be such a bad thing.

Gays have individuals who say they are our "friends" yet view being Gay as a lifestyle choice. These individuals do not truly view Gays in a civil rights struggle. These "friends" simply do not understand. They feel Gays should be content since these "friends" feel the difficulties Gays experience are simply what one should expect for being Gay.

We have a White House which strongly conveys the message that full equality has been achieved and that Gays are second class citizens.

Legislation is important, but the more Gay become open the more valid we become.
