Something tells me that Matt Hulholland is a size queen. What do you think? What does Christmas mean to you? I think we can see what's on Matt's list. He'd like a holy experience.

I love this! Xmas meant a lot to me when I was very little. The year I got my Danny O'Day ventriloquist dummy stands out. I was about 5 or 6 years old. There were six of us kids who couldn't sleep that year. My older sister Jane was elected to sneak downstairs to see if Santa had come yet.
As she made her way into the dark living room, she saw a pair of eyes staring at her, highlighted by a ray of light from the street lamp coming in though the window. She ran back upstairs as quickly as she could, terrified. Breathlessly, she told us that someone was downstairs.
We all scrambled into bed as fast as we could and pretended to be asleep, just in case.
After my folks divorced, Xmas became an angry, abusive mob scene. These days we keep it low key at our house. We may visit the in-laws in NC for the day or maybe we'll just stay home and have a family day here at Morning Wood Acres with the cats and the ducks.
