The thought of going out to a dance club makes me want to throw up into my hands,
but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy cutting a rug in the comfort of my living room when I'm home alone and in need of something to do that will temporarily alleviate the pain of existence.
So I don't know what kinds of tunes DJs are spinning in clubs nowadays, gay or otherwise. But I hope Sam Adams's "Driving Me Crazy" was on heavy rotation this past year. It's an infectious dance/hip-hop hybrid that features a college soccer captain-turned-rapper who had the fortunate audacity to sample Annie Lennox's "Walking on Broken Glass" with sublime results. And there's something kind of hot about straight guys listening to iconic gay divas and liking them enough to create a sort of artistic mind-meld with them.
