1. Do you mind hearing curses in songs?
2. Britney Spears or Lady Gaga or both? Why? Not who is better- who do you prefer and why?
3. Check out the Comedy Thunder vids and let me know which ones you like! Go leave them some rating/comment love too! Thanks!

1. Do you mind hearing curses in songs?

Gotta be necessary and meaningful. In a Patti Smith song? OR elsewhere justified? No prob.

2. Britney Spears or Lady Gaga or both? Why? Not who is better- who do you prefer and why?

LADY GAGA ONLY! LG CLEARLY supports the LGBTQQIAAP community.

Britney? No way! Just an overweight 'breeder' whose time has come and gone. BS - good initials for her!

- Pass.

Why do some people feel the need to validate their musical preferences by putting down others? Can we like artists and their music without saying they're "better" than other artists? I happen to like both Britney and Lady Gaga, but each for very different reasons.

I don't really care about the other questions, so I'll leave it at that.

As said before, obscenity needs to be justified by a socially valuable message. Obscenity to shock is long over, because obscenity no longer shocks. Obscenity for the heck of it is OK in certain adult-only venues, but I don't like hearing it from kids younger than college-age.

Lady Gaga is entertaining and I keep an eye on what she's doing. Never cared for Britney Spears.

No thanks -- for personal time management reasons, I try to limit browsing online vids.

1. Do you mind hearing curses in songs?

I tend not to listen much to the kind of music that has a lot of curses. But that doesn't mean I think it should be disallowed for those with lower tastes than mine. (kidding...sort of.)

I was recently listening to the censored and uncensored versions of the Justin Timberlake/Andy Samberg song, Motherlover ("We should fuck each other’s mothers...Fuck each other’s moms"). It's hard to tell which is funnier. Of course, bleeping out the "fucks" and "shits" isn't the same as not having them there to begin with, but still....

2. Britney Spears or Lady Gaga or both?

Neither.
