"If the president is truly serious about job creation and boosting America's economic well-being, he must provide leadership and action in helping to pass employment protections for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and ending the costly and unjust federal marriage ban."

--NGLTF's Rea Carey's reaction to the SOTU

Nothing from them about universal health care?

Universal heath care? UNIVERSAL health care? As in: health care not tied to marriage/jobs of spouses?

What are you thinking, oddboyout - that we're a bunch of crazy Canadians? Who needs universal health care when we can all get marrrriiiied? Because we all know teh gayz automatically get jobs that guarantee health care, so who cares about the rest?

And, Alex, I'm curious: where did NGLTF and HRC stand on EFCA?
