Paul McCartney said recently that the melody to "Yesterday" came to him in a dream ... but the lyrics in the dream were, "Scrambled eggs ... how I really dig your skinny legs ..."
He decided to change the lyrics to something more grabbing ... and now "Yesterday" is the most recorded song in history.
