Another reminder that American queers aren't the most oppressed in the world... Blabbeando brings us this video of Peruvian police in riot gear attacking kiss-in participants in Lima. You can see how blatantly the officers abuse the individuals - literally shoving a woman who's turned the other way down a small set of steps.

Since some of our readers are old enough to remember when being queer was illegal in the states, I'm wondering... What's the worst case of anti-gay police brutality you've personally witnessed in the United States?

Some of us remember when it was illegal in the US? That was a little over 7 years ago - Most of us probably remember when it was illegal in parts of the US and no one cared (except the police).

But I've never witnessed any antigay police brutality in the US.
