It appears that my campaign for readers to share the dirty secrets hypocritical "family values" Indiana legislators don't want revealed has hit paydirt this year. I'm planning to publish at least one expose this week - maybe two if I can get all the confirmations I'm searching for.

Hoosier union members are gathering at the Indiana statehouse to protest anti-union legislation similar to the Wisconsin bills that have thrown that state into turmoil. All too often, coverage of a movement or issue gets sidetracked by a sex scandal and momentum is lost.

Out of solidarity with our union brothers and sisters, I'll spend the next couple of days triple-checking sources and tracking down more rumors to see if they've got any legs so the union protests can dominate the local - and, hopefully, national - news. Meanwhile, keep on submitting your tips about the conservative legislators' dirty underbelly and I'll keep checking them out.

This is why you are a class act Bil.

I agree.

And by making sure that your facts are right, you'll increase the impact on the legislators for multiple issues.

I hope that activists and bloggers can do the same in Wisconsin, Ohio and the other states where legislators are running amok.

Agreed. I'm very concerned about making sure the facts are right. I don't want to go off half-cocked. Thanks for the reminder.

I agree, such a class act! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
