From the 1920s-30s, I bring you fantastic photographic image of an Adonis leaping through the air as if he was riding on winds. Perfectly perfect in every way - his exuberance is almost contagious!

By Leni Riefenstahl?

Beautiful as this style of imagery was in a way, I personally cannot entirely de-contextualize the Riefenstahl aesthetic from her Nazi propaganda , and so my gut reaction is queasy.

It's a gorgeous shot, and I would have guessed it to be decades old, as well ... but it's actually a contemporary photo! It's a shot by Jonathan Anderson and Edwin Low, of a member of the Danish national gymnastics team.

This looks more like something from the Jacob's Pillow ballet school. What's the source, please?

A beautiful shot. However, it could be a composite, it's too perfect. One would need to look at the original, to make true determination.

I have been a dealer of vintage male erotic art and I'd sure love to have a high-res copy or print.
