Another felicitous eBay find. I'm guessing these handsome fellows were drag performers at a 1920s cabaret? They have a theatrical look about them, and the one on the right is still wearing his wig cap. What really stands out though is the beaming joy on the face of the affectionate guy on the left. Too sweet.

Thanks for posting this - this makes me happy.

I have seen many similar pictures of music hall acts in Europe where female impersonation and male impersonation were very popular in mainstream theaters. There was one act in which brothers did their act as sisters, quite beautiful sisters.
