As a follow-up to my post this morning, here's Newt Gingrich saying limiting LGBT and women's rights is the absolute most important thing for the next president to do, promising that, if elected, he'd sign a series of executive orders to that effect. Say what you will about Gingrich, he usually has his finger on the pulse of the conservative movement.

I also love his little lecture at the end about the rule of law being paramount. Where was this Gingrich during the Bush years?

Oh, right, what Kevin Drum said.

Newt has a snowflake's chance in hell of being the Republican nominee. He's just trying to get attention.

"Say what you will about Gingrich, he usually has his finger on the pulse of the conservative movement."

I'd say more like the prostate.
