I'm running behind this morning, so I'm gonna throw up an open thread. The floor is yours, Projectors.

Who's your favorite character on Glee?

Me? Why, thanks for asking! I'd pick Brittany; she gets all the best lines.

Kurt! Kurt! Kurt!

I mean, sure, he's a bit over the top, but he's so strong and emotionally honest throughout everything that happens. And like so many people, he's different in a way that he cannot hide.

I kind of love Santana! But Brittany is pretty hilarious too.

Brittany's been a bit boring since Santana's revelation, but Santana is getting all awesome now.

I love Kurt because I think Chris Colfer is so amazingly talented, but I also like Britt for her lines, Santana for her fierceness, and Lauren for her bad-assness. Burt Hummell gets a mention because he is the best dad ever!

I'm surprised you're not re-featuring Prince Wiliam's penis pix (available on Bilerico in the center column under "most Popular"), with the Royal Wedding tomorrow.

I estimate that there are seven minutes of commercials for every three minutes of story -- including the singing. Not much room for character development. Unless you have a DVR and are VERY presistent with Fast Forward. Even then, they sgould be able to get an entire season on one DVD. THEN I'll watch it to see what all the fuss is about. ;-)

Darren Criss (Blaine) makes me melt but when I saw his spread in "Out" magazine I thought he lost some of that repressed, inexperienced, teenage sexual innocence he has in the show. I just wasn't ready!

It used to be Quinn (mostly because I have a HUGE crush on Dianna Agron), but lately I've found Quinn annoying and been much more impressed with Santana. Now that she's admitted who she really is (even if she isn't out yet) and started with the leather and all...rowr. She's also had some very emotionally powerful moments in the last few episodes.

Brittany's a close second though, and has been for a while. And I adore Mercedes and Kurt, and love Sam for the geek he is. (He speaks Na'vi! Hell yeah!) Lauren, I have to admit, I find incredibly obnoxious, but I do think she has her moments of awesome and respect her take-no-shit attitude.

Do I really have to pick!? Ok, Kurt. Chris Golfer is the most talented and the role is honest and a positive image for LGBT. Everyone else is second fiddle but still wonderful. Maybe others can respond to this. A friend (straight)suggested that all they needed was a Trans character. I tend to agree. The world is pretty aware of Gay people. Glee helps in presenting a positive image. Transgendered people still suffer from an ignorance and prejudice that goes back before Gay Rights became known. Witness the recent attacks and even deaths. A Transgendered character on Glee would go along way to promoting public awareness of what Trans people deal w/ everyday.
