Why Is Philip Zodhaites Selling Liberty University Data Bases?

Apparently the folks at Liberty University/Liberty Counsel were not happy with this post on my Response Unlimited.gifpersonal blog and a similar version cross-posted here at the Bilerico Project because one Amber S. Haskew, communications director at Liberty Counsel, contacted the editors at Bilerico.

She argued that there were no ties between Liberty Counsel or Liberty University and Philip Zodhaites - the far-right Christianist who has been alleged to be harboring the fugitive Lisa Miller and her kidnapped daughter at a home he owns in Nicaragua. Zodhaites owns Waynesboro, Virginia, based Response Unlimited which describes itself as a purveyor of "mailing lists and creative services for evangelical and conservative mailers."

Waynesboro is a hop and a skip from Lynchburg, Virginia, the home of Liberty University. The funny thing is that despite Ms. Haskew's protests, Response Unlimited is peddling lists that can only have been derived from Liberty University.

Damage control. LU wants to keep its Pell Grant money.

In all my years of living in the Bible Belt, not a single one of these uber-bigoted Baptists has ever approached me seeking a rational conversation. They don't have the balls to venture outside of their group-think.

That they went out of their way to contact Bilerico, one of those icky homa-sekshul groups, to distance themselves from Zodhiates, infers desperation in my book.

Ya done good, Michael. Keep'em on the run.

Good job, Michael; follow the money--it ties conspirators together. It appears that Liberty nees to be a bit more discriminating about just what right wing extremists it befriends--with careful attention those about to break international law..

There is some irony in that there was an ad link for Liberty "University" online in this piece. I've clicked on it (remove another nickel or whatever from the scamsters and get it to the Projectors) and was startled and horrified to see that these people offer an ON-LINE Master of Science degree in acute care nursing! (Maybe that's where Bill Frist got his remote diagnostic skills.)

Follow the money is the way to go, or one of them.

I personally feel that we need to stop ALL tax breaks and Federal/State funding for any "faith-based" group. Organized religion is not spirituality, it's my personal view that organized religion is a head-trip power play that serves no one but the leaders of the religion. The sooner people know that true spirituality comes from within not from some outside influence the faster organized religion will lose it's power to mess up people's lives. Spirituality is a search for meaning in our lives. Religion is a search for order and control and submission. Every Sunday I hear the same things. It's all about submission. A free society is not by nature a submissive one.

So what does the note mean at the bottom of the Response Unlimited add: "This list is not a managed property of Response Unlimited, Contact for details."
It looks like they don't actually have the lists. What's the truth here?
