Friend of the site, Kim Pearson, posted this short video to her Facebook wall on Saturday morning. While only a couple of minutes long it, the lesson it teaches should be remembered for a lifetime.

Thanks for giving this blogger, a guy who trades in jumbled bits of consonants and vowels, a reminder that words matter, Kim.

Hmm, I know, I'm a pain in the ass. But I'd like to see this from a disability perspective. Mature man with disability is unable to take care of himself until attractive seemingly able bodied person comes around and makes his life better. Is that really empowering for him?

I have to agree with you on this one. So did the guy ever learn what the new sign (that the young woman made without his permission, apparently), said? Well, at least the young woman's heart was in the right place, I suppose. :)

I was surprised they were Irish.

And with the tagline for the online business, I immediately thought of the Google/It Gets Better/Dan Savage brouhaha on this site last week. What's the dif?
