Like so many others, I lost a partner to HIV/AIDS. Michael Grant Toth died 15 years ago today when the Internet was still in its infancy. It has always bothered me that a Google search of his name turned up no information or images about his beautiful spirit. I suspect that is true for many who died in the early years of HIV/AIDS. So I decided to change that by creating a short video tribute and uploading it to YouTube.

After loss, life has a way of writing new chapters in each of our stories. Still, I've always believed that nurturing love in our current relationships requires honoring and remembering those whom we have loved before. So I share this video today knowing that many of you have also lost partners, friends, and family members. Please let this video be a tribute to all the "Michaels" that have gone before us ... may we never allow their memories to fade.

Thank you so much for sharing that. Great selection of photos depicting an obvious beautiful nature of a man I have never met.

Beautiful piece and video, Jeff. Thanks.
