For years I've said that I'd play any game in which Poison was a playable character. (I've talked about her story here before.) Now I've got something new to look forward to from Capcom:

Even if her look leans toward mid-90s trash she's in that elusive T community and that's something to be excited about. Other than the usual "It's a trap!" comments from the peanut gallery it seems that the whole nerdy internet collective is pretty jazzed about this.

(Bonus points to "Manly Guys Doing Manly Things" for doing a strip on the character that's really, really tasteful, too!)

I love MGDMT. Tasteful and hilarious parody. I love that they constantly deconstruct the obsession with masculinity in gaming. And love them all the more for this comic.
There's another webcomic, Head Trip, that had a really excellent trans-positive strip/punchline. I'll try and look it up when I get home tonight.

I love Poison! She's so cool! :D

Ok, I am still trying to get totally past the really fucked up background story on how her character evolved (hitting cis women is bad but hitting trans women is okay??), but nevertheless having trans visibility in a game like this sounds cool and actually really fun... I admit I am kinda excited!!
