The 1920s never fail to captivate me, in part because the decades was one of the most sexually progressive ages in Western history. Formerly forbidden types of sex came out of the closet and danced right into the theatre and cabaret scenes in New York, Berlin, Paris, and other glittering cities. Below, a playbill advertising the theatrical and nude charms of a 1920s Parisian performer.
