Unfortunately, I was sick yesterday and couldn't make it to Frank Kameny's lying-in-state service at the Carnegie Library here in DC. Jerame, however, was able to attend and took these photos for us.
When I asked him what he thought of the tribute, he said, "It was a moving tribute to an extraordinary man. It was particularly poignant to see some of his protest signs included as part of the ceremony."
Many more photos after the break.

A quote made after Abraham Lincoln died is now appropriate for Frank Kameny: "Now he belongs to the ages."
