Mesmerizing footage from Charles Roseberry of San Francisco's gay pride parades between 1970 and 1980. Roseberry, an early gay rights filmmaker, shot in 8mm and Super 8 mm film. The opening sequence of Milk was video he shot. Now 82, Roseberry is still filming and editing. There's over a half hour of dance music, lesbian feminists, and drag queens in this glimpse back into our history. (Hat tip to Projector Ron)

Wonderful share. Thanks.

Not many women, unfortunately. Haven't seen that many drag queens in decades. What wasn't to love about that music? Good times!
