"I asked him if he's elected, how does he plan to engage gay Americans. How are we to support him? And he told me to support Obama."

-- Scott Arnold, an associate professor of writing at William Penn University, who tried to engage Newt Gingrich during a campaign stop in Iowa. Arnold says he entered the event with "an open mind" but will now follow the Newt's advice and vote for President Obama's re-election.
