Chaz Bono and his fiancée, Jennifer Elia, have made the long train ride to Splitsville. The couple announced yesterday that they are ending their relationship.
Bono's rep, Howard Bragman, tells TMZ, "They leave this relationship with great love, respect and affection toward one another. No further amplification will be forthcoming and they ask that you respect their privacy at this time."
I wonder if that's something that all PR reps are trained to say at PR University - "they ask that you respect their privacy at this time." The crazy part is that they always send it to reporters who are inquiring about their client and will obviously be doing a story about them. I mean, does it help to say "Don't ask questions" after you answer their questions?
Chaz's proposal to Jennifer was aired in his special Becoming Chaz. Video of the not-so-big-after-all moment after the break.
