Wow. While many civil rights organizations and (mostly Democratic) politicians are honoring Martin Luther King Jr. Day, some folks just seem to be happy they have the day off.
The Indiana Democratic Party obviously spent quite a bit of time working on their release for the day; a 26 word MLK quote written in a large font is surely enough, right? I mean, it's a quote and it's displayed in all caps, people!!
There's no need to add your own words to honor a Nobel Peace Prize winner. This guy's a legend and you can let his words speak for themselves while you wash your hair, find the best MLK holiday sales, or wrap yarn around a stick.
In the spirit of this release, I thought it'd be nice of me to help them out a bit by offering suggestions for even shorter press releases next year. Surely we can get this thing down to ten words or less so there's more time for cleaning out the lint screen on the dryer.
Here are my five submissions. What've you guys got to offer as advice?
