This Doesn't Bode Well for Romney

"Middle Americans have no reason to turn to someone like Romney as an alternative to the failed policies of Obama. He has managed to be on all sides of an issue depending on the place and time his political ambitions took him. There is absolutely no enthusiasm at all within the party for his candidacy, and he carries more baggage than any GOP nominee in recent memory. If you had told me a few months ago the GOP was going to deliberately throw the 2012 presidential race, I would have said you were crazy. Today, I'm convinced that is exactly what is transpiring before our very eyes."

-- Hoosier gay Republican blogger Gary Welsh lamenting Mitt Romney's win in New Hampshire. Welsh is a Ron Paul supporter and a birther. A bitter Obama foe, Welsh's lack of support for the Republican front runner doesn't bode well for Romney's chance to turn Indiana back to the red column.
