Openly gay Washington Post columnist and MSNBC contributor Jonathan Capehart was all over the news Thursday after his morning sparring with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie on "Morning Joe." I disagree with MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell here that co-host Joe Scarborough "did all he could to moderate" the exchange. Christie was did his usual bellicose bullying act and overwhelmed Capehart while smugly mugging for the TV hosts and the camera. I applaud "The Last Word" host for bringing Capehart back so he could finish his point about the difference between Christie and President Obama on civil unions, DOMA, and marriage rights for same sex couples.
