Music performer and self-proclaimed drag terrorist Christeene used to be a lovable but somewhat obscure Austin oddity who amazed online audiences with her videos featuring vaginal teardrops and panda rape. But now she's all growed up with a Kickstarter-funded album on the way and a new video that got her forcibly removed from several semi-respectable business establishments.
Oh yes, she's back and she's even crazier and more confrontational.

In her video entitled "African Mayonnaise," Christeene sings about how "trashy" art is more violently real than your regular pre-packaged internet pap. Meanwhile, she and her two panty-clad backup dancers strut around a local gym and mall, much to the delight and horror of her observers.
While the video masterfully stitches together epileptic footage from her raucous live shows, it also makes an oddly profound statement about American pop excess, classism, gender non-comformity, exhibitionism, public accommodation and guerilla protest--pretty great from someone who began her career by singing, "I'll letcha chew on my crabcakes. To hell with the first date. Just slide me the beefsteak."
