More Anti-Trans Ads Out of Anchorage

If the first ad released yesterday by the deceptively named "Protect Your Rights," didn't disgust you enough, there is more out today. These are the low tactics the religious right is willing to take to block adding sexual orientation and gender identity to Anchorage's city non-discrimination ordinance - and all under the false title of "Anchorage is already a tolerant city."

The words and imagery are appalling enough, but to claim your reasoning is to protect small business is just disgusting - especially in this second ad that attempts to turn our community against itself.

Making sexual orientation part of the city's non-discrimination policy would hurt LGBT businesses? Is anyone buying this? Ugh.

The One Anchorage Campaign, supporters of Proposition 5, have asked that the ads be pulled.
