There's good news out of Indiana for once this morning. While the state's new license plate benefiting LGBT youth group, IYG, was in peril of being revoked, Republican state legislator Ed Soliday has withdrawn his attempt
to reform Indiana's procedures for giving out the plates citing that the debate had become too politicized. He plans to re-introduce the legislation next year when the furor over the gay license plate has subsided. The best part of the story? The legislator's decision had nothing to do with any state LGBT orgs; it same as a complete surprise to everyone. Yes, an Indiana Republican decided not to bash the gays for once.
