What's the Price of Gas Where You Live? [Open Thread]

When we moved to DC, I sold my car to Jerame's parents. Since we're in the heart of everything, we can walk, ride the bus, or take the Metro retro-gas-pump.jpgeverywhere. We just joined the Capital Bikeshare program that allows you to borrow a bicycle from several stations around town and then return it to any other docking station; if your ride is less than a half hour, it's free!

I noticed yesterday that I don't look at gas prices anymore. While I used to constantly be on the look out for the cheapest price to fill up the car, now it's not a consideration. When I looked up and saw that gas was $4.16/gallon for the low grade fuel, I was shocked. When Jerame and I started dating, gas was .79/gallon.

So help me out, Projectors. What's the gas price were you live?
