"Former New York Times Co. Chief Executive Janet Robinson received a total payout of nearly $24 million after she left the newspaper publisher at the end of last year, according to a regulatory filing on Friday."
-- From a Rueters article about the CEO's exit and her multimillion bonuses. In 2011, Robinson made an extra $5.9 million. She would have received the same golden parachute whether she was fired, resigned, or retired. The position is currently still open. I should send a resume.
