Gay Student: 'You Do Not Leave Your 1st Amendment Rights at the Gates of the School'

Bravo to Kearian Giertz, the Fullerton Union High School student who said he said he hoped he'd see gay marriage legal again in California in 10 years. KNBC TV caught up with Giertz, who said no one but the assistant principle who cut him from a high school competition was offended by his comment because it was his opinion. "You do not leave your First Amendment rights at the gates of the school," Giertz said.
