Often out of drunkenness and/or just plain boredom, my gaggle of friends will gather around my computer as we try to decide which diva gave the best rendition of what song randomly entered our heads. The most common face-off has been over the Star Spangled Banner, but since Whitney died, it has become bittersweet. The other options are almost always Broadway.

This week is inspired by noticing a friend and I both posted the video of Bette Midler's turn as Mama Rose within 24 hours of each other on our Facebook walls without any reason other than some gay spiritual connections. There is a HUGE number of versions out there, so I have included my favorites after the jump. Who do you think does it the best?
