Updated: This is terrific. On the eve of their winning pre-football season game with the Denver Broncos Sunday, the SF 49ers released an It Gets Better video - the first NFL team to feature multiple players, all of whom are people of color, giving LGBT youth encouragement. Seattle Seahawks' Mike Williams previously made a video for the effort. This may be part of a trend to end homophobia in sports. News via Buzzfeed indicates that the NBA has become the first league to participate in GLAAD and Athlete Ally's LGBT training program.
