Personally I find Bill Maher to be a pompous ass and one of television's only psuedo-news hosts that can compete with Lawrence O'Donnell on the superiority complex front. I don't like him or his show very much.

We actually have HBO as part of some package or another from when we first moved here. While I've been happy to keep it so I can watch shows like "Game of Thrones," Jerame likes Maher's show and enjoys torturing me with it.

Last week, I must admit, Maher hit one out of the park when he sliced, diced and pureed Focus on the Family on air with an apt description of exactly what the group is: "An anti-gay lobbying group disguised as a church." Don't tell Jerame I said something nice; it'll be our little secret.
