Rob Zerban isn't Joe Biden, but he is running against Paul Ryan. Ryan didn't have to give up his House race when he was picked as the Veep choice, and Zerban is his Democratic opponent in Wisconsin. When I met him in Charlotte, I walked up and said "It's a pleasure to meet you Mr. Vice... Oh. You're the other guy." and pretended to start to walk away. Zerban laughed and we talked for a good part of the evening. He has a good chance of winning and would make a fine Congressman.
