Voter ID Laws & Trans Voter Suppression

With the elections now just weeks away, the time to get out the vote is now. Unfortunately, thanks to stunts like the voter ID laws now taking affect in numerous states, voting is going to be much more difficult for those without a license.

Most of the talk concerning voter suppression in this election cycle has focused on the elderly, lower income voters, people of color, and young people - all solid Democrat voting blocks. However, one group that I haven seen barely mentioned is the trans community.


I open this up to you. Have any of our trans readers faced problems at the polls before? Are you expecting things to be worse this year?
