Why You Should Celebrate Today

It's Columbus Day where Americans are supposed to celebrate the beginning of our country. Birthday cakeOf course, that was also one of the first steps toward enslaving and killing hundreds of thousands of Native Americans, so the holiday is slowly falling out of favor.

Thankfully, I'm here to give you a chance to still celebrate the day. Today is my 40th birthday.

My fellow Bil-Eri-Co namesake, Eri-chan, is in town to help me celebrate. The two of us were together on my 20th birthday too. It's been a long time.

The gift I'm giving myself today is that I'm taking the day off. I'm going to spend my day hanging out with Eri-chan and making as much mischief as possible. In fact, I'm writing this the night before just to make sure I have a day away from the site.

The floor is yours. Y'all can set the topic. Do any of you have the day off? If not, tell them you're celebrating with Eri and me and scoot on out of there.
