First the AP called it for Tammy right after polls closed and then withdrew their statement admitting they'd called it too soon. Next out of the gate was the Victory Fund who crowned Tammy the winner. Soon LGBT leaders like Kate Kendell and Mara Kiesling were proclaiming Tammy's success on Facebook while MSNBC and CNN showed her down by five points in the count.

Soon HRC, Fox News, and Rueters were jumping on the bandwagon, while other outlets still showed the race extremely tight. Hours after the AP prematurely declared victory and Facebook and LGBT orgs went nuts, CNN and MSNBC still showed the race tied or within a couple of percentage points.

Now it's finally official. Baldwin is declaring victory and Rachel Maddow is reporting it.
