Today, in a simple ceremony in the southern French city of Montpellier (which is known as the "French San Francisco" for it's gay-friendly reputation), Vincent Autin and Bruno Boileau became the first same-sex couple to wed under the country's new marriage equality law. They were married by Helene Mandroux, the city's mayor.

Congratulations to the newlyweds! Vive la France!
