Before you head out to Sunday brunch, enjoy this 70-second video from BuzzFeed featuring a hunky shirtless man giving a mini-lesson on how to correctly say the names of thirteen of the most commonly mispronounced food items.

I especially appreciate this video as a professional vocal musician, because proper diction is something that we voice people get awkwardly obsessive about. My husband Michael -- also a professional vocal musician -- once practically came to blows with a passive-aggressive server at a restaurant who kept condescendingly insisting that the word "bruschetta" was pronounced "broo-SHET-tuh" (which it isn't, by the way). It was pretty serious.
