broadway_marriage_proposal.jpgLast week, the cast and crew of the Broadway musical Cinderella helped one gay couple find their own "happily ever after."

Jason and Kunal, a couple from San Diego, were called up onstage after the cast took their final bows. Leading man Santino Fontana told them that they'd won a "special promotion" and asked Jason how it felt to be on a Broadway stage. Fontana then asked Kunal the same question, but after briefly answering, Kunal segued quickly into an adorably touching monologue about love.

See, the couple hadn't won a "special promotion" at all. Kunal told Jason that the contest was just a pretense, then got down on one knee and asked his musical theater-loving boyfriend to marry him -- right then and there, downstage center at the Broadway Theatre in New York City.

Watch Kunal's heartwarming proposal below. The reactions from Jason and the cast are particularly touching.

I don't know about you, but on a day like today, this heartwarming video was jut what I needed!
