Last week, the head of the famous Italian pasta-maker Barilla caused an international controversy when he declared that he opposes gay adoption and that his company refuses to include same-sex families in advertising because they're not "traditional."
He and the company apologized -- sort of -- several times, but the damage had already been done: equality supporters ditched the brand in droves, and Barilla's corporate rivals rushed to declare their support for LGBT equality.
This week, a new video promoting pro-equality pasta brands is making the rounds. It was made by Mister Chase, a gay singer-songwriter, and is being promoted by MISTER, a gay social networking app. The video, called "Pastamoré," features a sexy chef wearing only an apron, and of course, the inevitable same-sex homage to the famous noodle scene from Lady and the Tramp.
Watch, after the jump. The video is mildly NSFW, as the chef's apron doesn't have a backside.
