The Ruth Institute, a marriage discrimination advocacy group and a former affiliate of the anti-LGBT National Organization for Marriage, has egg on its face today after posting a meme on its Facebook page in which three out of five words had errors.

Did you catch them all? "Its" was used incorrectly twice (they should have used "it's," the contraction for "it is," rather than the word they used, which is the possessive form of "it") and the word "bigotry" was misspelled "bigorty."

Activists spotted the embarrassing errors and circulated the image on Facebook and Twitter, and the Ruth Institute removed it on Sunday. But they shouldn't have, because the meme is at least half right: the folks at the Ruth Institute aren't bigorts, they're bigots. And they should wear that designation with pride, because they've certainly earned it.
