Watch Out for the Devil Baby

Remember that crazy, high-tech viral video marketing stunt for the Carrie remake last fall, where engineers rigged a New York City café to make it look like chairs and tables were moving across the floor?

Well apparently, high-tech horror-movie marketing stunts are now officially a thing. Behold "Devil Baby," a remote-controlled baby doll who whizzes around the streets of New York in his perambulator terrorizing random pedestrians.

The folks at Thinkmodo, who also masterminded the Carrie prank, leave the demonic child alone in his stroller, seemingly abandoned. When (justifiably) concerned strangers approach to see what's the matter, the baby rears up in the carriage, screams bloody murder, and occasionally projectile vomits and chases them down the street.

The video is after the jump. Wait until you see Devil Baby meet an NYPD car. Hilarious!

Oh yeah, this prank was engineered as an advertisement for the new movie Devil's Due, which opens Friday.
