Believe it or not, America's cutest Olympian just got even more lovable. Not only does freestyle skier Gus Kenworthy look hot in or out of his parka, now he's melting the hearts of animal lovers worldwide.
After winning a silver medal in men's slopestyle skiing, the 22 year old was scheduled to return to the United State yesterday, but stayed in Sochi so he can rescue a family of stray dogs. Kenworthy discovered the mother and four puppies at the media center and with the Russian government infamously rounding up stray dogs and killing them inhumanely, announced he would postpone his return trip until he can take his new pack back home to Colorado.
Kudos to Kenworthy for providing one of the too-few heartwarming moments from an Olympics marred by substandard accommodations, human rights abuses, and government corruption.
