Just in time for Valentine's Day, Gun Oil lube has come out with an incredibly tender advertisement that depicts the heartache of being away from the one you love, and the tender joy you feel when you're united with them again. And they tell that story through the eyes of a gay man waiting for his soldier husband to return home.

Scott Fraser, president and CEO of Empowered Products, says this about the ad:

"Our Gun Oil products for men and PINK products for women are designed for the wellness and sensual enjoyment of everyone, regardless of orientation, preference, and relationship status. In light of progressive advances in marriage equality and the right to serve our country sweeping across the U.S., we felt this view of life was a story that was not being told with the authenticity and compassion it deserved."

Watch the ad after the jump. Warning: you may get a little misty-eyed. Who knew a lube ad could be so sweet?
