Aziz Ansari is one of my favorite comedians. While he's particularly awesome in "Parks and Recreation," the NBC sitcom set in the fictional Indiana town of Pawnee, he got his start doing standup comedy.
It wasn't that long ago that gay people were the butt of jokes. It's refreshing to see the times change; in Ansari's jokes, we're still the punchline - but in a completely different way.
You can stream Ansari's comedy special, "Buried Alive," on Netflix.
