Here's your heartwarming video for the day: meet Ofelia. She's a California mom with a transgender daughter, Zoe. The two recently filmed a video for the Transgender Law Center (TLC) where they discussed living and loving authentically.

Zoe, a seventh grader who helped advocate for AB 1266, California's landmark trans student protection law, shares her coming-out story and talks about what it's like to live out and proud at school. Ofelia talks about her daughter's journey into her authentic self, and -- as the TLC's Mark Daniel Snyder puts it -- says the words that every transgender child should hear:

"We fought for her opportunity to be okay in school and be able to be herself. She became a totally different person. She's much happier, she's very comfortable with herself, she's very self-confident, very strong. I'm extremely proud of her... I just think she's awesome, and I'm her biggest supporter."
