It's LGBT Pride Month -- a time for celebrating our lives, loves, and identities; recommitting ourselves to the fight for equal rights; and honoring and remembering our LGBT siblings who came before us, stood up and fought back, and built the world we inhabit today.

In that spirit of honoring and remembering -- and/or if you're just a queer history nerd like me -- check out SuchIsLife Videos' fascinating compilation of vintage news footage from the gay civil rights movement of the 1970s. From the pieing of Anita Bryant to the murder of Harvey Milk to the first Pride Parades that were held in the aftermath of Stonewall... it's all here, and much more.

The video is 70 minutes long but worth every second of your time. Watch, enjoy, and share.
