This month, in honor of LGBT Pride Month, Dave Evans of SuchIsLife Videos is compiling vintage news footage from the gay civil rights movement. He released a video summarizing the 1970s, another that covered the 1980s, and now, here's a look back at the gay 1990s.

The 58-minute clip covers topics including the Boy Scouts, domestic partnerships, the Clinton presidency, "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," the 1993 March on Washington, same-sex parenting, DOMA, gay-straight alliances, and the murder of Matthew Shepard. It's significant for me because, as someone born in 1985, the clips on this video are some of the first gay-related stories I remember seeing on television.

Watch, enjoy, share, and honor our history. And share your memories in the comments section. Which of these stories do you remember?
