James Holmes is a writer and visual artist based in Washington, DC. He originally hails from the small town of Kennett, Missouri and attended the University of Missouri, Columbia graduating in the spring of 2007 with a BA in English and Creative Writing.
After graduation he moved to DC and has spent the majority of his time working for district government and painting independently.
At night you can find him making food for the talent and the public at the 9:30 Club. If you find yourself there, enjoy the music, order some food and say hello. He'll be the one in the fedora.
